More good news from the Mello Music camp, as L’Orange announces his latest album – a reunion with the ever-impressive Jeremiah Jae. Their previous album, The Night Took Us In Like Family, is still my favourite work from L’Orange, which is saying a lot considering how much gold he has produced over the years. Today sees the release of the first single from the new album and it seems as if they have picked up exactly where they left off, as the song opens with a sample from some old hard-boiled gangster movie – a running theme in The Night Took Us… You can pre-order Complicate Your Life With Violence over on Bandcamp.
