Competition: High Focus Summer Block Party 2019

As has now become tradition, this month sees the return of the annual High Focus Summer Block Party at, Lakota, the legendary Bristol venue. The label have made big waves in the city over the last few years, thanks to a string of huge parties and this year looks set to continue in similar fashion.
As usual HF bring with them an exceedingly strong roster of artists, which has helped to make this line-up one of the hip hop high points of the summer. The event includes an album showcase from Datkid and Leaf Dog, featuring their recently released Confessions of a Crud Lord LP, as well as the album launch for the long-awaited solo project from Ronnie Bosh. On top of that there are also sets from Fliptrix, Coops, Dabbla, Onoe Caponoe, Pitch 92, Ramson Badbonez, CMPND, Smellington Piff and Wish Master, plus DJ action from Sammy B-Side, Fingerfood, Jazz T, Frosty, Mr Slipz, Baileys Brown and DJ BB.

All this goes down on 20 July in the Lakota courtyard, accompanied by stacks of BBQ and High Focus merch. Tickets for the event are on sale now, but if you’re feeling lucky then I have another option for you.
