Emotionally rousing new video from Stik Figa, for Holding Back Tears, which is lifted from his recent Central Standard Time album. Produced by Apollo Brown, the track is inspired by Stik Figa’s experiences as a black man living in America.
As he says in the release notes, it’s about “the constant push and pull of what is considered acceptable versus how I feel, and making the right choices for my survival and being able to keep my conscious intact. I’m sure many can relate, so, I thought I would share, and be transparent about it all.”
