This Friday the legendary Malcolm X Centre in Bristol plays host to a soon to be legendary line-up of acts. Top billing goes to the elusive cult figure, CASisDEAD, who is making an ultra rare appearance at the infamous Wordlife showcase.

Renowned for his raw lyricism and the insane energy at his live shows, the set promises to be one of the high points for 2017 and beyond.

He is backed up by a strong selection of homegrown support acts. Datkid (Split Prophets, Demorus) will be performing and hopefully giving some insight into his long awaited solo album.

One of the leaders of the next generation of Bristol MCs, Jay0117, will be slaying some suitably grimy beats and producer/MC duo DEDW8 – AKA Baileys Brown & Bewbonik – will be making an appearance almost as rare as the headliner himself.

There will also be sets from the Official Recordings family, including Ellis, Wish and Dash Villz, as well as Sparface from Box Boyz, Merv, Springa and E-Lim.

Hosts on the night will be B-E-Z, Yung UK and Wordlife organiser, Krazy – the man responsible for making it all happen.

All this goes down this Friday 3 March at the Malcolm X Centre for the overly reasonable price of £10. Tickets are available from Bristol Ticket Shop and there will be more on the door.
