Next month the Jazz Cafe will play host to the mighty Artifacts, as they hit London for their first UK show with a full line-up. having reformed in 2012, the trio of El Da Sensei, Tame One and DJ Kaos, had already achieved legendary hip hop status thanks to producing some classic tracks in the 90’s. These included perhaps their most famous joint, the graff writers’ anthem, Wrong Side of the Tracks.
They will be joined on the night by Reks, who has built up a strong reputation since his debut LP dropped back in 2001. This year sees the release of his 10th album, The Greatest X.
There will also be a set from Edo G – aka Ed O.G. – the cult Boston rapper who has worked with the likes of DJ Premiere, Masta Ace, Pete Rock and Sean Price among many others. He will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of his LP, Life of a Kid in the Ghetto.
This all goes down at The Jazz Cafe on 23 September and tickets prices range from £12.50 – £15. You can buy them here.
