Cult is a word often associated with Blah, for obvious reasons and Danny Lover is no exception. The Canadian MC has built up a solid stream of releases over the past couple of years and his recent appearance at Boom Bap was treated as one of rap’s rarer spectacles.
This new album sees him link up with Wes Murray, a singer-songwriter, who also hails from Ontario. The result is Career Suicide, an ironic name for a release that is surely only going to boost their careers. Written in the aftermath of the death of 19.thou$and, who was a close friend of Danny’s, he produced the album in its entirety.
Career Suicide is available to buy now via Bandcamp.
